Agreed heading into 2002, I think Iowa fans had more expectations than they do know. Banks played well at times in 2001, and they had a lot of players coming back.

Agreed heading into 2002, I think Iowa fans had more expectations than they do know. Banks played well at times in 2001, and they had a lot of players coming back.

I think the expectations are still higher, and they won't be met again this season.

No, but we do have returning offensive line and a good defensive line with several defensive players who showed some good ability to disrupt the play last year....I'm not saying that we should expect 11-1 and such- but no one had a sniff at what occured in 2001. But we have Solid Lines, a returning QB (which is still a question mark), a good TE, decent corp of receivers and a good schedule.
