I also think that's too low. Call me an eternal optimist, but I see 8 wins for us this year.

A good chunk of the same guys that Iowa beat by double digits on the road last year.
Not trying to be a homer or even diss Northwestern, as they might get to a Motor City-type bowl this year, but I just think Iowa will be better. But what are pre-season rankings for, really -- to generate discussions like this. In reality, it's tough to say how a team like Iowa or NW will do until we've seen them play a game or two. 75 days from today, we'll start getting some answers.

I see 8, maybe 9, wins and a bowl game this year too. From were we are now I'll take any step forward as progress and could live with 7-5
