Since it hasn't been posted yet, here it is for everyone's reference:

2008-09 men's basketball

Nov. 9 Wayne State University (exhibition)

Nov. 14 Charleston Southern University

Nov. 17 Texas-San Antonio

Nov. 20 at The Citadel

Nov. 23-25 Las Vegas Invitational (Iowa City)

Nov. 23 vs. Southeast Missouri

Nov. 25 Second round

Nov. 28-29 Las Vegas Invitaitonal (Las Vegas)

Dec. 2 at Boston College (Big Ten/ACC Challenge)

Dec. 6 Bryant University

Dec. 9 Northern Iowa

Dec. 12 Iowa State

Dec. 20 at Drake

Dec. 27 Western Illinois

Iowa will play 2 home games against smaller schools in the opening rounds of the Las Vegas Invitational, and then will play 2 more against larger schools (guaranteed, even if they somehow lose one of the home games) in Vegas the weekend after Thanksgiving. The 4 big schools going to Vegas are Iowa, Kansas State, Kentucky and West Virginia.

There's no excuse for a Big 10 school not to go at least 11-3 with that schedule, but I can see us going 9-5 quite easily.

Yeah, that's pretty easy. Looks like the Cubs schedule in April and May.

Kentucky and West Virginia look like the only good schools in that Las Vegas Invitational.

I am looking forward to catching the Hawks in Vegas. The games are played inside the Orelans casino.

I'm guessing this is part of a contract. I'm fairly certain Iowa played The Citadel at home within the last couple years. Maybe we scheduled a 2-for-1 or something.
