why we cannot win 9 games this season that is acceptable to me.
None. This schedule is a cakewalk.
(I just got finished adding the games to my calendar.)

There are plenty of reasons we might not (most on the offensive side of the ball), but I agree that none are acceptable.

What happens if we don't? A public woodshedding? Mandatory staff changes? Firing of KF?

I'm not enough of a people person.
In honesty, I think that another mediocre (no bowl/crap bowl) will correctly result in Kirk being given a "clean house or get out" ultimatum. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but the question marks all over the offense don't give me as much optomism as I typically have.

I don't think Gary has as good as arm as Gus.
I too feel it would be unacceptable, I just don't know what that means for the common fan. For me, it would probably result in a non-renewal of season tickets.

I don't think Iowa will win 9 games, I think 7-5 will be a success.

Last season should have resulted in a "clean house or get out" ultimatum.

I don't think they'll win 9 games, but I won't consider 7-5 a success.
