I agree.

I don't like driving back and forth to games at 5 AM, but at least, I get home at a reasonable time.

2:30 starts put a damper on the whole day for me.

Agreed. I'd be very surprised if we didn't see a deal before the football season starts.

Plus the night games are a pain, as Iowa City doesn't have the hotels to accomodate...

I like the 11am starts the best. No Iowa football game (well, other than the results) puts a "damper" on my anything, but getting up and the game being on quickly is the way to go.

Something will happen with Mediacom soon. There will be HUGE pressure in-state now, and with the Comcast deal done, Mediacom has had the extremities of what they can ask for defined for them.

As much as I hate the 11 AM starts since I live on the West Coast, when I lived in Iowa City, I was a fan of them.

I hate waking up early but I had no problems when it came to Iowa Football. Plus you can get home and nap before heading out that night.
