....the first question they asked him, was whether Ferentz will be Iowa's coach next year, given his salary, off field problems etc. He said Ferentz is a good coach and he can see Iowa winning 8 games this year...I disagree.
He mentioned that Northwestern has had the best offense they've seen on their tours of the camps, and mentioned that they will be the surprise of the league this year.
...things could go south in a hurry for Iowa if they lose @Pitt, NU, @ MSU, @IU.....ouch.

I think they just need the defense to pick up the offense for the first few games and get them some confidence. They have their work cut out for them, for sure.

Attendance will really be something to watch this year. Gas prices and the lack of enthusiasm are a bad mix.
