...it will be interesting how this plays out, don't think Jake will be in Iowa City next year if he loses the job, probably obvious.

Depth charts at Iowa are a total joke. Even the ones they put out the week of the game never reflect what really happens.

And this depth chart is pretty stupid. It still lists Doering and someone else who is hurt, but doesn't list Shonn Greene who KF has said is his #1 RB a couple different times. They took the depth chart from the beginning of camp and took out Moaeki, that is about it.

This is correct. But, I don't think Jake knows how close to losing the starting job he is. If he loses the job I am guessing he pulls the plug and transfers.

But how effing sweet would it be if Mr. Hawk and Monster's prediction went down in flames by default...with Jake losing the job to a better player and pulling a Beutjer?
