Survivors of the natural disasters that struck Iowa this spring and summer and the "Community Heroes" who provided and continue to provide support to their friends and neighbors will be guests of the University of Iowa at the first two home football games to be played by the 2008 Iowa Hawkeyes at historic Kinnick Stadium on the UI campus.
In recognition of the spirit with which the faculty and staff of the University of Iowa rose to this challenge on our campus and in the immediate Iowa City and Coralville communities, the UI Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is making available tickets to current UI faculty and staff at the price of $25 per reserved seat ticket to Iowa's games against Maine on Aug. 30 (11 a.m. kickoff) and Florida International on Sept. 6 (11 a.m. kickoff).
There is no limit to the number of game tickets that can be purchased by a member of the faculty or staff. We do ask that you limit your purchase to family members living with you and other family living in the area.
To make your purchase, visit the following web page:
https://www.groupticketwindow.com/groupticket/college/iowa/group
and insert the following:
Sign-In ID: UIAPPRECIATION
Password: gohawks
Please note that the sign-in ID and the password are case sensitive. From this point forward, the ticket purchasing process is very straightforward.
If you have any questions about this special offer from the UI, please contact the UI Sports Marketing Office at (319) 335-9431 or the UI Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800 IA-HAWKS.
We also want to remind you that the UI Athletics Department continues to provide complimentary game tickets to disaster victims/survivors and "Community Heroes." To learn more about those programs, go to:
