Plenty of convo heating up on the various other boards that NG has quit the team. I suppose in addition to being behind Greene and O'Meara, he may be getting passed up by Hampton.

I've heard the same thing. I personally think they extended the offer at a time when they were desperate, and they no longer are.

based on the spring game and open practice this doesn't appear to be much of a loss IMO.

This sounds like great news. Why would anyone complain about a JUCO being passed in the depth chart by a true FR?

I agree. I see this as self selection freeing up a scholly. He wouldn't have left if he was in line to get significant playing time.
