Yes, I know the competition isn't good, but still that says a lot. Are Iowa fans underestimating Jeff?

I think he has improved a bunch, but I still want to see some more out of him before I make judgment.

His first game last year, he played 39 minutes and didn't commit one turnover.....then things slowly unraveled.

But I like what I have seen from him so far this year.

Not to make excuses for Jeff, but I think he had a combination of things going against him. I think he was frustrated with his minutes. I don't think he had a full grasp of the system. I think he hit the proverbial freshman "wall" earlier than most. He had a hand injury that threw him off, and I seem to remember he had a bad flu bug or mono or something that set him back for a week or so at one point.

Going forward, I think he'll be a good one for us. Not an All-Big Ten guy by any means, but a solid point guard that will limit mistakes, make good passes and create offense with his ability to drive the paint and dish out to Tucker & Co.
