The game is on at 7:35 PM Central on the BTN.

The only thing I know about Bryant is that their lacrosse team is coached by Mike Pressler, Duke's ex-coach during that whole fiasco.

I will throw in a little stat I found today at work while looking up something else for another player, but Jeff Peterson has the second largest FG Pct improvement in Division I from last season among players who have played in at least 8 games this season and averaging 5.0 FGA per game.

And hopefully that comes even more true like my Brommer stat from the other day.

Anyone know a good radio link? My usual one is currently having a post game of some Grinnell Women's Basketball game.

Apparently Red Oak beat Grinnell (or someone else). Kate had a good game according to this announcer.

Davis and Kelly started over Tucker and Fuller tonight.

Tucker has played some, but I guess he has been sick this past week...which might explain his lack of playing time in the BC game.

So who does Cole have to nail to get some playing time?

Earlier this season, the talk was that Lick was trying to slowly work him back since he was coming off his knee injury and had only practiced for a month or so, but even so, I would have expected more playing time by him at this point in the season.

Yeah it's time to get him more time. Against some of these lower class schools I have no problem with the going extremely small. But I want to snap every time I hear someone say it was hustle and "want-to" that is getting us out rebounded against good teams. No it's playing a 6-8 guy at the 5 and Gatens/Fuller at the 4 that is getting us out rebounded against top 40 opponents.

No knock on either of those players either as I love the player Tate has become and I love Gatens. And Fuller is going to be a solid player throughout.

I felt sorry for Fuller when I was at the K-State game and I saw him struggling to defend a 6'11" guy. He busted his ass, but he won't win that battle that often.

Especially in the Big 10 when the refs let you molest the opponent.

Sounds like this game is boring. Even Dolph and Hansen sound bored.

And Dolph just confused Bawinkel and Gatens.

Iowa up 26-14 at half.

Tate already has 10+ rebounds.

It's not very exciting.

Hawks are playing average and not very much excitement anywhere... yet still have the game well in hand.

Bryant just sucks. And not only are they bad, their coach had them playing zone all first half. Yeah, zone D vs a team like Iowa.

Why are we even playing Bryant?

At first I thought Iowa was playing just Kobe Bryant. Even with 5 on 1 I think I would take Kobe.

Why are we even playing Bryant?

They are a new Division I team on provisional status right now...they need games and they probably were willing to come to Iowa City for real cheap, especially since the Hawkeye Challenge is no more.

From the sounds of it, it sounds like Lickliter would like to play a tougher non-conference schedule, so we could be seeing that in the future.

Hell we are only up by 11. This game sucks.

There really is no flow to this game.

I haven't been able to watch any of the other games, and I don't read up on the stats, but does this team always shoot this many 3s? Good Lord.

Pretty much.

Live by the 3, die by the 3.

The highlight of this game may have been when Dolph and Hansen interviewed some junior who does the radio broadcast of the women's volleyball team.

Riveting stuff.

We really didn't need to run the score up like that. Not necessary.

28 of the 43 shots they took were from three-point range tonight.

Iowa is 2nd in the nation in 3PA/FGA.
