I couldn't help but feel bad for the kid. I wish he would have had some decent coaching. Not all conference material, but some potential to be fairly solid.

his biggest problem is his parents. Then ran the Ames HS coach out of town and coddled lil Alex.

Do not ever feel sorry for Alex Thompson. He gets what he deserves. What NLP said is exactly right.

He was making good progress when he left unfortunately. If he would have been finishing his senior year last year under neal and alford he probably would have been HM All-Big TEN.

I have yet to see anything promising from Thompson. I'm glad he's gone.
