The Hawks are back in Carver going up against a struggling IU team that has lost its last 3. 3:35 tip-off on a Saturday afternoon means there should be a decent crowd on hand.

I'll say Hawks by 14.

I think it's just because they recognize him and know that he's reffed 65,000 games over the past 35 years.

This is true. It makes the announcer seem like he knows what he is talking about.

I couldn't believe the other ref who called blocking on Davis. Davis is lying on the floor and the dude had his finger dramatically pointed at him for a full 3 seconds. Seemed a little over the top. Maybe he has been Ed's partner for 20,000 games?

As much as I hesitate to call Brommer a post player, he goes to the hoop with less strength than any post player I've ever seen.

DUNK THE FREAKING BALL or you could give a couple Jess Settles head fakes, anything but going up softly to get either fouled (you'll miss the free throws) or miss it off the back of the rim.
