Good news: apparently Iowa has a new player, junior David Brooks is starting at center.

Palmer is fucking terrible. It's obvious why he hasn't been playing much up to this point.

If Purdue wasn't playing like shit this would already be a blowout.

These Hawkeyes love, absolutely love, long scoring droughts.

He's better than Brommer and is quite possibly our biggest offensive threat today.

That said, he is a terrible basketball player.

Leading scorer and rebounder at half.

Gatens looks terrible today. Complete lack of hustle on both ends of the court.

Lick's gonna have his hands full keeping this team from mailing it in.

We sort of hung in there for 23 minutes.

Is Tom Davis coaching the perimeter defense today?

You can tell they are already starting to mail it in.

Palmer should of been playing more at the beginning of the season. Starting your first game at the #19 team in the country after only playing 4 minutes all season is never a good thing. I question that decision by Lick.

I haven't watched more than a minute of all the road games combined this season.

I agree. The best hope is that Tate comes back and sparks something with senior leadership. And some home wins maybe getting them some confidence back.

It's gonna be an uphill struggle to get to .500 in the conference. A big struggle.
