March 8, 2002: Iowa beats top seeded Wisconsin in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals on a Recker buzzer beater. Nearly 7 years later, we've only beaten them once since then (senior day for Horner, Brunner). Wisconsin has absolutely owned Iowa. And it effing drives me nuts.

So Hawks, for the love of everything holy, please pull your heads out of your asses for a night, quit turning the god damn ball over more often than you shoot it, and beat the cheeseheads. Their fans are insufferably annoying. TIA.

I don't think Wisconsin beat Iowa more than two or three times from 1980-1990. Of course expectations have been lowered, due to poor administrators at the University of Iowa, and Wisconsin has gotten better.

Pretty tough, as usual. 12-5 on the season (losses to UConn, Marquette, Texas, Purdue and Minnesota). Hughes, Bohannon, Landry, Krabbenhoft and Leuer are their leaders.
