Tonight, playing a free show.
Anyone else going to go? I'm there. I'm drunk.

Where are they playing and why is it free?
I've seen them a few times and I know LAX has too. They are always a fun show.

They're at the IMU. They're playing free as part of the Riverfest celebration - doors at 630, show at 8 I believe. They're actually doing 4 of their next five shows free for some reason.
I love MCS.

Awesome Band!
Maybe I need to hear more than "fell in love without you" but that song might be the gayest thing I have ever heard.

I just listened to a few youtube songs and they seemed pretty gay. NTTAWWT
It did inspire me to pull out some Story of the Year. Not the gay part, just that one of their videos popped up to the side of what I was watching.

I thought that whole album was week. Commit This To Memory and I Am The Movie are much better albums.
The lead singer has a high pitched voice and they have a light/fun/synth sound so I wouldn't expect many people to like them.
I enjoy them and they put on a fun show. The keyboard player is usually going nuts.
Riverfest always seems to get bigger since I was in school. I went once my junior year since a band called Kill Hannah was playing in the park down by the IMU. They were not a well known band, but had a huge following in Chicago. I saw them first at some radio station concert and the crowd was huge for them.
Anyways, my buddy and I went down there to watch them play around 9 PM on a Friday when most are going to the bars and there was probably like 10 people total to watch them. I felt bad and you could tell they were annoyed.
Their best song was called Welcome to Chicago Motherfucker so everyone (all 10 of us) are yelling for them to play that song, but they told us they were not allowed to play it. They played like 5-6 songs total then just sort of quit.
It was pretty sad.
