Absolute morons. They simply have no clue about actual economic principles.

The business owner has no choice but to both pass this cost on to the consumer and to include this cost as part of the compensation to the employee.

Every liberal nitwit from FDR to Jimmuh the Weak has tried some fashion of making those evil owners pay-their-fair-share, but they'd be much better served reading Econ101.

As George Bush said in Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay:

Trust the government? Heck, I'm in the government and I don't even trust it. You don't have to believe in your government to be a good American. You just have to believe in your country.

This is what happens when lawyers take control. No business sense or knowledge or even aptitude whatsoever in the entire industry. All they know is sucking like leaches on the productive.

So let's mandate employers provide health insurance so we can tax the hell out of the employee on that insurance. It's a great revenue producer.

Ah yes, because only unions have negotiated benefits as part of their total income, unlike the rest of us.

Gus and Sal didn't bother to comment in July. Will it be different in this January?

I don't think Moby has the first clue what a realistic profit margin is for a small business.
