I'm heavy on RBs and Packers, but plan to make a trade or two. Too many good RBs went for too little, I had to do it. Feel pretty good about my chances.

10 teams. Start 2 WRs. I'll make a trade for another receiver.
Nice draft, though your QBs are a tad weak, IMO.

Yeah, I know. Schaub is risky, but he's one of those "if he stays healthy" guys.

TE: Jason Witten
PK: Lawrence Tynes
TD: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

I think I have Tynes in pretty much every league this year, mainly because his bye week is 10, so I have 9 weeks where I don't have to think about a kicker.

BTW, I never answered your original post - your team looks very good, although I've never done a 10 team league so it's tougher for me to judge how much talent is common on those teams. Like you said, you're obviously way too RB heavy - I'd see if I could trade 1 or 2 for a better #3 receiver than Mason or Driver.

Please save this: Mason will have a great year. 80 catches, 1,100 yards, 10 tds.
But you're right. For some reason, WRs were getting bid up pretty high, but solid RBs like Benson, Brown, and Stewart (insurance for Deangelo) went cheap. Heck, Taylor went for a dollar, and the guy with AP had money left and a roster spot, but didn't bid.
I won this league last year, btw.

I just roll with one kicker and then when the time comes, ditch him and start using the waiver wire every week for the one with the best matchup.

The catches and yards are doable given his #1 status and career averages, but you are out of your mind if you think Mason is getting 10 TDs. His career high is 9, and that was 8 years ago. I think he'll have a decent year, but I would temper my expectations for a 35 year old receiver who retired* in July.
*Then again, maybe this explains why you like him so much. ;)

Yeah. My normal draft strategy is to see if there's any guys who play in domes available in the last round of the draft. On his bye week, I drop him and pick up someone else who's already had their bye so I don't have to worry about it for the rest of the season.

10 team league
QB: Warner, Eli
RB: DeAngelo, Barber, Addai, Cadillac, LeSean McCoy
WR: Wayne, H. Ward, Lee Evans, Ginn Jr., Sidney Rice, Earl Bennett
TE: G. Olsen, Visanthe
DST: Vikings
K: Longwell
Not happy w/ receivers, but I can live with it. Gut feeling that Earl Bennett will have a good year with Cutler (they were teammates at Vandy)
Feel pretty decent about my RB corp. While Barber, Addai, and Cadillac will lose touches to others, still feel they will get the majority of looks, especially in the red zone.
Hopefully Warner has another decent year. If not, I'm comfortable w/ Eli as backup. And there are a few other QB free agents I can look at too if I get desperate (S. Hill, Delhomme, Sanchez, Flacco to name a few)

12 Team League
QBs: Palmer, Cassel
RBs: Chris Johnson, R. Brown, R. Bush, J. Jones, & S. Greene
WRs: R. White, B. Marshall, H. Nicks, C. Henry, J. Maclin, & S. Smith (NYG)
TEs: G. Olsen
K: Mason Crosby
Def: Packers
If my WRs can keep themselves out of jail and not suspended by their team, I'll be ok. If not, I am totally fucked.

Another draft:
QB
Rodgers
Favre
Freeman
RB
Turner
Gore
Taylor
Norwood
J Davis
Coffee
WR
Driver
S. Smith (Car)
Mason
Hester
Ginn
TE
Winslow
Olsen
K
Tynes
Def
Chargers
In this 10-team league you HAVE to play a rookie non-kicker every week, hence the emphasis in my draft. Coffee is also insurance for Gore. I'm hoping Freeman starts soon. Usually, the winner of this league has a strong rookie.

A guy in my league wasn't able to be there for the draft, so he set up his rankings and set it to auto-pick. He ended up with:
QB: Cutler, Cassel
RB: Forte, T. Jones, A. Peterson (Bears), S. Morris
WR: Hester, P. Harvin, J. Galloway, Sims-Walker
TE: Olsen, Pettigrew
D/St: Eagles, Dolphins
K: Gould, Nedney
That might be the worst team I've ever seen.

Did my draft on sunday. 12 team league.
QB - Roethlisberger, Flacco
RB - Slaton, Grant, Felix Jones, L. McCoy
WR - R. Moss, Desean Jackson, Driver, C. Henry, D. Henderson, M. Bradley
TE - Gates, Z. Miller
D/ST - Baltimore, Jacksonville
K - Dawson, Hartley
Everyone has to draft those exact positions, you start half every week.

I really should play with you guys. Some terrible teams listed here so far.
Ten team league, PPR. Came into the draft two picks too late and got stuck with LT and S. Jackson. At least Jackson's been serviceable. This was my highest scoring team from the weekend as well. No additions since the draft.
QB: Roethlisberger, Schaub
RB: LT, S. Jackson, Willie Parker, Glen Coffee
WR: Brandon Marshall, DeSean Jackson, Vincent Jackson, Steve Smith (Giants), Mike Sims-Walker, Nate Burleson, Nate Washington
TE: Vernon Davis, Brent Celek
K: Varies by week
Def: Denver
Two flex positions, heavy on WRs, but considering I start 2 and have 2 more in flex positions, not too heavy. Can always make a trade for another RB if I need to. Have a couple feelers out right now as well.
Threw up 175 points, and left an additional 25 points on my bench (didn't start Roeth or Nate Washington who scored more than the people who started over them).

Are you saying you drafted Steve Smith and Sims-Walker?
Indeed. Draft wasn't until week three though so I had a better idea of what was going on in the league. Looking like a pretty good decision now ehh?
And if Steve Smith made it undrafted in a ten team league with a 6 man bench, you're playing with some terrible players. Considering he was basically the #1 guy coming into the season for the Giants, or expected to be. Sims-Walker was a bit of a reach, but I picked him up in my last round before I got my kicker and defense.

PD = Pwn3d.
Mikey, looks like you were right about Mason's TDs. 72 catches, 1,005 yards with 7 tds. Dropped #8 last week in the end zone. Dropped another sure TD a few weeks ago (would have went for about 60 yards, iirc). Good call.
