Stoops really effed the pooch on #1. His RB had just run nearly 80 yards on one play and he ran the next play for him? Maybe fresh legs don't get Cato'ed.

I thought about that, but when you go back and watch the replay Cato got there a split second after the handoff, nearly instantaneous. Mercury's legs wouldn't have helped that.
