Stoops compares Iowa defense to USC?

I'm just checking to see if I heard this right. In his post game press conference, Stoops was asked about the Iowa defense, and said that it compares to the best they've seen in the past 12 games, USC included.

Anyone else hear this?

I was really impressed with Grace after that first game, but also extremely disappointed in our defense. After the past two games (ours and UNI's), it seems obvious to me that Grace is simply that good.

That's a helluva program Farley is running up there. Hanging with - if not out-playing - our defense is pretty damn impressive.

UNI had a terrific offensive line, IMO- they played very well

To me it seemed like a decent passer would have put some points on the board against Iowa last week.... Arizona had guys open, the QBs just couldn't hit them.
