That looking back on this season, we'll see the UNI as the 'game we normally lose" in the pre-season.

This bodes well for us long term this season.

I'm getting bullish on the hawks. I still think we lose a close one on Sat, but I think we win against OSU on the road, and will come in solidly second.

Our Defense is just that good.

If you're predicting a 1 loss conference season, I think our chances of at least sharing the crown this year are damn good. In fact, I don't think they're terrible even with two. I think each of the top 4-5 teams (not sure yet if the Badge belong in that group) can beat any of the others on any given week, particularly at home, and that any of Minny, Illinois and MSU are capable of an upset or two.

I'm certainly hoping the UNI game was the typical September turd and not this weekend's game.
