Big win for the Bulls tonight. WVU really isn't good, though.

But symbolically it was a good win. Proved they could come back from that 2 game slide and beat a decent WVU team. We really need to win out for me to be able to look back on this season without wanting to vomit

bulls shock the world last night defeating the tough cavs on the road to take sole possession of first place in the central.... on the way to the ship, of course.

Which I have no problem with...but that was clearly still on Miller's fingertips.

was a good game either way. good defense, and noah was all over the boards, but just didn't shoot the ball well enough to win. not an NBA championship caliber team, but a good squad.

Only in the NBA can a team claim they got a rebound, called a timeout, inbounded it to a guy who didn't tip it but actually caught it, and got a shot off all in less than 0.6 seconds.

It was ridiculous that the refs gave them the rebound timeout in 0.3 seconds.

Bulls got a big game this week. We need to beat Rutgers and snap this losing streak

the blackhawks (the only team in chicago that appears to know what they are doing, save for at times the sox) would have fired him before the final buzzer.

Whoever would have thought hiring a head coach with absolutely zero coaching experience would be a bad idea?

here is the thing about the eastern conference. this bulls team should make the playoffs again this year. the only way this season is a success is if this miss out on the playoffs and strike lottery gold again.

don't look now but the Bulls are 23-22, sitting at 7th in the East and looking to climb all the way up to the 5th seed for the playoffs! and remember, once the playoffs start, 'anything is possible@!!!!'

The Bulls just put together their first ever 3 game winning streak in the Big East after beating Pitt yesterday. NIT is looking like a sure thing, barring a complete meltdown

Hard to believe that Rose is the first Bulls All-Star since Jordan in '98.

Actually, I guess it's not that hard to believe.

Huge upset for the Bulls over #8 Georgetown

Edgecrusher7711

The Bulls traded Salmons to the Bucks for Hakeem Nicks and Joe Alexander. In other words they cleared another 6 mil for the summer. This leaves them 20 mil to spend. If they clear Hinrich they go after two big names. If not it's one.

Also it sounds like they're trading Ty Thomas to the Bobcats for Flip Murray, Acie Law (2 more expirings) and a protected first rounder. They weren't going to resign Ty anyways and got a pick out of it. Plus it will help them miss the playoffs ;). I'm down with that.

Btw in case Sal looks in...his fellow Bostoner, The Sports Guy had Rose at #8 in his trade value column. Rondo was at 16. But hey Rose still isn't in his league. Also Rose now has his per up to 10th for PGs. Like we said he was not healthy early in the season. The last 2 months he's been sick. What he did to the Knicks (not that they play any D) the past two nights was cruel.

So looking good for the Bulls so far. Now it's down to getting either Wade or Bosh this summer. Must land one of those two for this to be a success.

Basically, all of Edge's post panned out.

http://www.670thescore.com/pages/6391548.php

Tyrus Thomas --> Charlotte
Ronald Murray + Acie Law + 1st Round Pick --> Chicago

John Salmons + 2011 & 2012 2nd Round Picks --> Milwaukee
Joe Alexander + Hakim Warrick --> Chicago

Also, Milwaukee has the option in NBA Draft 2010 of switching first round picks with Chicago, so long as Chicago’s first round pick is not a top 10 selection.

Bulls basically dump $12 million in salary for 2011, pick up some expiring contracts, and swap some draft picks. Picking up a first round is good, and losing the second round picks is meaningless.

Too bad they couldn't make anything work to dump Hinrich or Deng.

yep this could be the deal that gets the Bulls in the elite cluster of teams once again and out of the cluster of blahhh teams in the middle.

Oh and a rock solid coach would be nice in the offseason too, thanks for all your work and comic relief Vinny but we need somebody that doesn't look quite as confused during TO's in the playoffs.

Yeah Vinny's got to go. No FA signs if Vinny is still there.

Well, they only fell 15 wins short of the ship. Vinny will likely be the scapegoat in the offseason, and hopefully a marquee coach and free agent are on the way.

Vinny of the Negro is gone by 10 am tomorrow.

I know that most coaches are just hired to be fired eventually, but Vinny wasn't given much of a chance. He was given a roster that should lose in the 1st round each year, and that is what he did. Adios though, of the black.

I like to make fun of Vinny of the Negro, but it's the the Bulls organization that is a complete fucking mess. I'm sure the Fight Club that Paxson was running in the front office will be endearing to FA.

Agreed. VDN was put in a horrible position by a bunch of morons. But VDN still can't coach. He did improve but not enough to be a NBA coach (His first few months were frightening). I really wish the entire front office could be washed away (along with most of the team) this summer.
