Tom was mentioning on the other site that if he averages his normal tackles per game number for the bowl game, he would be 3rd or 4th all-time for a Hawkeye in a single season.

He is everywhere. I believe today he was taken out after a massive hit on a RB. My dad has me watching kick-offs for freshman. So far he has been right on number 31 a few years ago, and Angerer. Being senior day, I was sorry to see Murphy go, he was the third that my dad thought was a cant miss.

he has a nose for the football. He dominated the 4a title game against Valley a few years ago in a way Ive never seen a defensive player do at the HS level.

I think that every guy wants to be AJ Edds the way we want to be James Bond (the whole package--looks, brains, etc)--but Angerer is one of those special special FOOTBALL players (say 'FOOTBALL player' the way Eddie Podolak would).
