For the avg Joe, you'd have to have balls as big as dodge balls to travel 1000+ miles with no ticket to the prom.

will it even sell out? If estimates are accurate you have 40000 hawk fans and 30000 Boise fans? Close I guess. I doubt it does but I probably shouldn't doubt the power of the Hawk nation.

it will definitely sell out, but there will be a lot of people selling.

75 and sunny while you are out on the town with 40000 Hawks fans doesn't do it? How about drinking on Mill while your friends are scraping the ice off their cars going about the daily grind in 20 degree Iowa weather?

Remember, for BCS bowl games stadium capacity =/= number of tickets to be sold. There are thousands of comps and sponsor tickets.

For those looking for a great deal on a hotel room in AZ. I know it's not Glendale, but only 15 min from stadium....
Four Points by Sheraton Phoenix - $49/night. Not bad for a 3 star hotel. You would only lose 1 night stay if you cancel (if no Fiesta Bowl).

Upon further review, the hotel map indicated 15 min drive, but Google indicates a much further drive 12 mi/25 min. Game is 5:00 local time so you will miss rush hour traffic (assuming you're getting there early).

It looks like I get 2 vacations in January. Beginning of the year in Arizona and the last week of Jan and first week of Feb in Puerto Vallarta.
Nice.
