I found this linked from ESPN (http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/8718/big-ten-lunch-links-172).
Penn State (http://www.pennlive.com/pennstatefootball/) coach Joe Paterno didn't know what day of the week it was and said he's lost his ability to count with age, but he made one thing perfectly clear at Penn State's Bowl-a-palooza pep rally Wednesday: he's heard enough about the LSU Tigers.
He said as much in speaking to some 10,000 Penn State fans at Pointe Orlando, and he showed longtime LSU fan Shannon Nunez, 35, exactly what he meant.
Nunez's bright yellow “eye of the tiger” sweatshirt caught Paterno's attention as he walked toward the stage. The 83-year-old Paterno delivered a playful jab to Nunez's stomach on his way in, then ripped off his purple LSU hat and threw it on the ground on the way out. ...
“I'm sick and tired of hearing about Tigers,” Paterno said. “Where I come from in Brooklyn, we had Lions that ate up Tigers. All of the Tigers were Irish, and all of the Lions were Italians.”http://blog.pennlive.com/patriotnewssports/2009/12/penn_state_coach_joe_paterno_s.html
