good point. I've never seen any of the spiderman movies or care for the superhero genre. The Dark Knight however should be on my list. Perhaps take out Slumdog and put in the Dark Knight.

IFC had both Kill Bill's on last night and I watched all 4 hours. If I did a top 20 they would be 15-16ish.

That's fair. I don't have a list at my disposal, though.
I'd probably add Gangs of New York, and FOTR
I saw a helluva movie this year, The Hurt Locker.
Gotta give "Catch Me if You Can" a shot, as well.
The Incredibles and Rattatouille were fantastic
I agree w/ whoever had Almost Famous, too.

That's what I thought, Monster.
You'd just watch the movie and pretend it made an impact on you. Maybe it was positive and maybe it was negative, but like a muttering old man, you'd let everyone know that you ironed your pants.

I won't be making one. I'm not going to pretend that I can narrow the decade down that much given that I was a teenager with a HS taste in movies ten yrs ago.
I'll give you my bottom three though.
Envy
300
The Beach
I thought The Beach was really underrated, Lime. I didn't like the part where his surreal experience was provided in video game format, but I thought the story and acting were strong.

So, you don't want to post a list and get made fun of, is that it?

No, I'm not a fan of decade lists for art. I'm not at all concerned about the opinions of this board when it comes to movies.

In a year? 10 or so, probably. Never more than once a month, I guess.
My dad hasn't seen a movie at a theatre since he took me to the first Jurassic Park.

I don't watch them in a theater, period.
It's not worth the hassle, and I think I have better movie experience at home. I'm not quite a Zaph when it comes to anger at adults bringing kids to inappropriate movies, but I'm close.

You might consider making an exception for Avatar. I can't imagine replicating that experience in a home theater.

1-3 a year. Whomever thought it was a bright idea to make one of the loudest foods to eat(popcorn) the food of choice in a movie theater needs to be shot.

I've also heard that if you have a chance to see Avatar in 3D, it's much worth the added money to do it.

Yep, sticky floors, annoying teenagers with cell phones, babies crying, the guy who laughs out loud for 10 seconds after the funny part, the $5 drinks. It's fantastic
