It is really just an excuse for amateur drinking night. New years is just another day for me, albeit with a lot of good collegiate football. It is kind of like watching your odometer rollover. Whoopee, for all of 30 seconds.

With a boatload of bowlgames out there, it can't be just another day.

It'd be less worthless if it weren't a week after Christmas. I'm already exhausted from the last few weeks of stuff (though having a newborn is probably a big part of that).

i love new years, i personally think halloween is the worst holiday ever.

New Years day is the best of the year. It's football from early to late, unlike any other day of the year.

It'd be less worthless if it weren't a week after Christmas. I'm already exhausted from the last few weeks of stuff (though having a newborn is probably a big part of that).
How old is little TH now?

Congratulations....we have a 5 month old girl. Tips: through the tough crying spots we found "shhh-ing", lunges, and the vacuum cleaner sound works. Last resort......car ride.
