I hate you...Speckendicken is one of my favorites. We used to have it at lunch at my grandmother's (mom's side) and dinner at grandmother's (dad's side). My mom and dad are coming down in February and we'll have it then. I miss those days.

My mom actually has family in Germany and actually has the ingredients shipped to her, I guess the wheat something or other that is in that crap is really hard to find here in the states.

I actually like the things cold....

Hot / cold...love them all. Yea the flour is hard to get here...but my folks found a small mill in the midwest that does it.

Down here the Germans have no idea what it even is...

The closest thing I've found is the McGriddle.
