Weird stuff. My girl had a 102 fever and has been itching terribly for about 24 hours. Her face swelled this a.m. so we took her to the ER. (Sorry to be a drain on the health care system, btw)
They diagnosed her with hives. The culprit? Berry Berry juice boxes. We celebrated NY's with their cousins 2 nights ago, and she had like 4 of them. Obviously I cancelled our out of town trip because she was too miserable to go.
The one positive is that I got to use the line on her, "You look like a blueberry!" Which was comedy gold.
