That money is from a different pot, most of the country doesn't have one to piss in but see school districts have several.

Chris Bern is a giant DB. It says a lot about the organization that elected that guy as their leader.

I just saw the piece on channel 13. The field reporter spoke with parents of McCombs middle schoolers.
I'm not an expert here, however, it appears that McCombs middle schoolers are underpeforming because all of the parents are fucking retarded. Every parent interviewed appeared to retarded and/or drunk. I'm being completely serious.
News flash-It doesn't matter how many/few teachers a school has. School is only a small portion of a child's overal education. If the parents won't play a significant role in the child's education then the kid is likely effed.

I think Legend's is in need of some better wait staff. Maybe they can find work there and improve the service to the quality teachers expect.

What happens in the classroom is not the sum total of a child's education, I agree, but you really need to revise the above statement.

It would help if I spelled correctly.

Having attended McCombs for most of my 8th grade year, I can tell you that is a completely accurate summation of the school. When I was there, even sixth graders would routinely skip out of class to go over to Fort Des Moines Park and get drunk and/or high.

some teachers in that thread are saying 70 percent of their kids speak poor English.
I wonder how much money the district is spending a year to teach these kids English?
Thats their parents jobs.

I went there 82-84 and worked the in 93-94 and can't recall anyone "routinely" skipping class to get drunk or high. In fact, I can only recall a handful of instances in which any kid drank or got high anywhere.

This is going to happen all year. The state and local governments are mostly broke. It is one of the reasons new unfunded mandates from the feds leave me scratching my head. If a idiot like me can see it how can the feds be so clueless.
