Never saw it. Is it too dated now or is this a quality flick?
Anyone under 30 or who has ever enjoyed a Quentin Tarrantino movie, please refrain from opining.

A quality movie. One of my all-time favorites.
"Is that a man?"
"You're goddamn right it is!"

Watch it as soon as you're able.
Sam Shephard as Chuck Yeager...not perfect, but quite good.

Sorry, I'm under 30, but I would like to say that I enjoy the movie. Haven't seen it in forever though. (My dad is an experimental test pilot and is obsessed with Chuck Yeager, thus we watched this movie at a young age).

Great flic. I always get choked up when the other cadets start pounding on Tom Hanks's son.
Huh, hold on.......
It's a good read, too.

So your dad has that autobiography of Yeager, Serenity?
I read it as a kid, and was just blown away by it. Yeager had some monster-size titanium nads, boys, though The Right Stuff doesn't really get into his best and brightest work.

I liked the part about him shooting moose or whatever with his fighter jet.
Monster blushes at the thought of Chuck's nuts.
