Did anyone here the teacher from East on Jan Mickelson yesterday? He is a shop teacher, who is refusing to let one of his students build a Wicken(sp) alter for his church. supposedly this same teacher denied a student 2 years ago from building a cross(no qualms from the student or administration). Administrators told the teacher he needed to let the student build the alter, or they would fire him. The teacher did state that he was a Christian, but has never allowed any religious projects in his classroom, as shown by him not allowing a previous student to build a cross. This whole situation almost seems backwards, but I've never known East educators to deny kids religious freedom.
