You can spend some time here. I have linked to the Saving Private Ryan page, which goes through all of the weapons used by the squad.

Cpl. Timothy P. Upham (Jeremy Davies (http://www.hawkeyelounge.com/index.php?title=Jeremy_Davies)) holds his M1 Garand on a group of fleeing German soldiers including Steamboat Willie, whom he kills. Note how his hand is on the bolt handle, which could result in a finger pinch. Also note how he rests his thumb on the reciever tang, which could result in "shooter's thumb", getting whacked in the nose by your thumb knuckle due to the recoil.

Will this site tell me that Tom Cruise making the double pistol shots accurately while diving off the motorcycle isn't realistic? :)

Whoever put this together is a nerd of the highest order.

I love some of the captions on the photos "Jackson ejects a shell (which is clearly a blank) from his 1903A4".

No shit?? They used a blank? Maybe because it is A FREAKING MOVIE AND NOT THE REAL BATTLE OF NORMANDY.

My grandfather carried the B.A.R. in Normandy. I would have loved for him to sit with me and watch that movie, but he wouldn't go anywhere near it.
