I'll also agree on Diet. Soda is just all around bad for you - it's heavily processed and full of all sorts of crap. lol @ the idea that knocking out a few calories makes it somehow better for you. It's never going to be good for you, so why drink stuff that tastes so much worse?

I used to think this way, but now I regularly drink diet coke and diet mtn dew and enjoy them moreso then the regular syrupy choices most of the time.

I still do really like regular coke though, and can't drink whiskey and diet coke

Amusing story (or at least I find it amusing), I went to college in Michigan where no one has ever heard of cheerwine. One of my proffessors was a huge fan of Cheerwine so a friend of mine, who was from North Carolina, brought him back a case of the stuff after christmas break. This prof. liked to drink a soda while he lectured. One of his freshman classes reported him to the dean for drinking an alcoholic beverage while teaching... The situation was easily resolved, but lol at freshmen :)

I think Diet Mt Dew is disgusting, but at least I can recognize that is does have some sweetness to it and a very passing resemblance taste wise to regular dew. Can't be said at all for diet colas.

Same here, and quite a number of very sharp peeps have also said diet is horrid.

If it's cola or some other pop, give it to me real, preferably with sugar as has come back.

Otherwise, I'd prefer unsweetened tea, but the artificial sweeteners crap is even less desirable than margarine.
