The Register has an online poll (http://desmoinesregister.upickem.net/engine/Votes.aspx?PageType=VOTING&incrementnumber=1)(with pictures) to vote for the readers' favorite local morning drive time program. As probably expected, Van and Bonnie are running away with it. The interest for me is that they have pictures of all of the hosts.

I have always found it interesting to find out what the actual person behind a "voice" looks like. The surprises in this gallery for me were Big Ken and Colleen. Big Ken is not near big enough for that moniker and Colleen looks entirely different that what I had pictured.

The chick on in the mornings had a voice made for a phone sex hotline, and she was smoking hot in person. Abso-frickin-lutely gorgeous. Sadly, I can not remember her name or I'd provide a pic.

My wife is a big z102.9 listener, a couple years ago she won some contest where Shulte and Swann and their girl sidekick at the time came to our house. It was the girl before this one they have now. Super cool, nice voice, not hot.

I was going to try and detail the relative attractiveness of the women I've worked with over the years, but at least one person I worked with posts here, so I think I'll pass. ;)

Let's leave it at this: There were few attractive women, a healthy number of average looking girls, and a high number of nasties.
