Angry civil servants shouting “Hands off our bonuses” on Thursday blockaded the main finance ministry building in central Athens as Greek trade unions launched a wave of protests against a new €4.8bn austerity package.
...
“This is just the start of our campaign ... these new measures are socially unjust,” said George Peros, a senior Pame member.
...
“We’re concerned this government will claim it doesn’t have money to make the payments,” said a former Olympic Airlines engineer.

I'm focusing more on the amusing arguments presented (although not as awesome as "Germany stole our gold in World War II), but I have posted multiple times regarding the long-term concerns of this situation.

So I guess the people protesting thing this is some type of 'punk'd' deal where their financial crisis is all made up?
This is the amazing part of society...how many totally uneducated people are out there when it comes to finance.
God forbid this ever hits America...because we'll have major, MAJOR issues because by the time it hits us it will have hit 50% + of the rest of the world.
Guns, ammo, and food are NOT bad investments.

Where's the next Democrat National Convention?
I am honestly looking at bumping up from 3 months to a year on food stores. Just trying to figure out where to put it. A year of food for my family would take up a bunch of room in the basement. Then you have to cycle through it constantly to keep it from wasting which is almost a job in itself...

This. It's a freakin job. I'm of the opinion that 'food insurance' folks with Beck might not be a bad move even though it's wicked expensive.

But so is wasting a bunch of food because...lets be honest...most of the stuff that stores isnt' the stuff you'd want to eat every day.
