Anyone following this story? It's a weird one. There's no disputing that Jindal's chief fundraiser, Allee Bautsch, and her boyfriend were severely beaten after leaving a GOP fundraiser last Friday - she ended up with a broken leg, and his jaw and nose were broken.
The question seems to be whether the attack was politically motivated, or whether they were simply the victims of a mugging.
Leftist thugs apparently tried to crash the GOP event earlier in the evening, but were thrown back by police. It appears that the two victims were followed and harrassed after they left the event. The police haven't issued a final report.
