I think it's a way of gathering people at the hospital (Jack, Ben, Locke, Claire, possibly Kate, possibly Charlie).

Yep, that's been going for awhile. Sun got shot.

But why just "show" Hugo, why didn't he try to get him to the hospital?

I wish they would stop with the previews. I doubt there are many people on the fence about watching the next week's show. If you are a fan of the show you are going to tune in for the last few weeks. I usually avoid watching them, but usually find out about them anyway.

I had to pause and replay it a few times to see it. Desmond running over John Locke was awesome.
