Let them revolt.

BTW..what are they revolting against? maybe they should have stayed home and revolted against their own gov'ts immigration policies that are carried out against Guatemalans and El Salvadorans.

Maybe they should have stayed in their own country and revolted against their own gov't that doesn't give a rats ass about their welfare and well being.

Perhaps he should have said "commentary" instead of "comment."

Crazed can't actually not write at least some comment. Heck, Crazed's sneezes create up to 60 lines of text.

I'll provide some commentary after watching: I seriously wouldn't feel safe having my child in this individual's classroom. At all.

According to Webster

Capitalism: an economic system characterized by private or corporate ownership of capital (http://www.merriam-webster.com/netdict/capital) goods, by investments that are determined by private decision, and by prices, production, and the distribution of goods that are determined mainly by competition in a free market

Imperialism: the policy, practice, or advocacy of extending the power and dominion of a nation especially by direct territorial acquisitions or by gaining indirect control over the political or economic life of other areas; broadly : the extension or imposition of power, authority, or influence

I think saying that these two things are the enemy, are a little contradictory, but maybe I'm just racist.

I do believe he is talking about what some have called a "fundamental transformation".

"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist Professors and the structural feminists and punk-rock performance poets. We smoked cigarettes and wore leather jackets. At night,in the dorms,we discussed neocolonialism,Franz Fanon, Eurocentrism and patriarchy. When we ground out our cigarettes in the hallway carpet or set our stereos so loud that the walls began to shake,we were resisting bourgeois society's stifling constraints. We weren't indifferent or careless or insecure. We were alienated."

So this guy engages in what can only be described as hate speech while standing in front of a sign saying "Hate Speech Is Not Free Speech."

One more comment. This guy is clearly engaging in seditious activity, which is against the law (The Smith Act). So what are the chances that he is charged and arrested?

Sal thinks that these sorts of videos don't say much at all about groups of Mexican nationalists in the United States, but the wackos in the Tea Party groups are evidence of a "scary shit" underpinning the entire movement.

We didn't steal California. We earned it when a young lieutenant by the name of ulysses Sam grant, under the command of a capt. Robert lee, hauled one of Thomas Jackson's cannons, under fire, to the roof of a church and blew the holy he'll out of Santa Anna and mexico city's west gate.

A comment from crazed is a minimum of 2 pages long. Over two pages, it becomes a 'few thoughts'. Once you get to about 7 pages, it becomes a diatribe.

I've never advocated Palin's arrest for sedition. But if that's a road we're going down, folks like this would seem to be in imminent danger too:

Basically, what this taxayer funded teacher is advocating is armed revolt against the United States. I don't expect he'll be charged - that's too much to hope for. If Jane Fonda and Ramsey Clark got away with what they did, there's no way this guy is in any trouble.

What's disturbing is not only that this guy is saying what he's saying, but also that he's speaking to a sizeable crowd that obviously agrees with him. Also, being a teacher, we have to wonder what kind of garbage he's stuffing into the heads of the waste receptacles known as his students.

Well, I don't think they do.

However, I'm not sure I'd equate secession (which is somebody who's in wanting out...people friendly to such a cause might call it "independence") with either revolution (insiders toppling the sovereign state) or conquest (outsiders toppling a sovereign state).

The patron saint of secessionists is William Wallace. Just because he rebelled against the throne of England doesn't put him on a par with Hitler -- despite the fact they both warred against the Brits.

There's been a perfectly peaceful (and thus far unsuccessful) secessionist movement in Quebec for quite some time. I don't have strong thoughts about that movement one way or another. But I can say that I find it a lot easier to have sympathy for people who want to simply part company than I do for people who seek to conquer or topple governments.
