Has anyone seen Chevelle live. They are playing in The District of Rock Island in June and was wondering if they were worth seeing live. I seem to remember someone saying that they were not very good live but I maybe thinking about the wrong band too.

I thought they sucked something awful live. I suppose if it is cheap it wouldn't hurt to check out.

I've seen them live and wasn't too impressed. They're one of those bands that concentrate more on the sound than the show.

Yeah, in full disclosure, I had a few beers at the show. So they very well could have sucked. Hell, I'd have probably enjoyed a Dave Matthews show that night.

They weren't bad. I've seen bad. They were just dull, but sounded great.

i saw them about 5 months ago....smaller venue....they sounded great. if you go for the music you should have a good time. if you go for the fireworks, explosions, etc you will be bored because that isn't their thing. i
