Really? This is his easiest one to translate.

He is saying that a point guard from Wisconsin (high schooler) is going to play with the 2019 Barnstormers AAU program that McCaffery's/Wieskamp play for. Joey Hauser (Top 50 recruit) is from Wisconsin and also plays for them. He must be spreading the word about the program and enjoying himself if other kids from Wisconsin want to play for them.

Recruitment: Iowa (where his father Fran McCaffery coaches) has offered.

His day: McCaffery is thin, but he is also quite fluid, can shoot with range and is an excellent all around athlete. He has the tools to play inside or out and looks like he could be in line for a bump in the rankings.

Quotable: "No, nobody else is even trying (to recruit me)."

Prediction: This one is all Iowa unless McCaffery leaves for a different coaching job.

Nope....but if he has bad mechanics that's a coaching/player issue. If dad is too busy maybe mom could make some improvements to his shot.

Agree...as he gets stronger the release will get higher...now it looks like a lower push shot coming from his chin

I'm sure he needs to get stronger but strength or lack thereof, shouldn't be an excuse for poor mechanics. It's a practice/repetition issue. I'm sure he will get better at it in the next couple of years.
