I voted keep for financial reasons. I'd love the thought of him getting an NFL gig, but what's he going to be? I'm not saying he wouldn't get hired for a coordinator position, but I would LOL at Kirk as an offensive coordinator. I mean, he's an O-line guru, yes? So would it be OC?

Please. Monster isn't voting to fire Kirk.

Monster prefers that he walk away on his own, which we all do. It's not gonna happen, but it would be best for all involved.

I really don't think it's time to fire him. Next year will be the year if it's anything like this years debacle, especially if he keeps Davis and the offense is an embarrassment again.

Oh I don't on a personal level. Maybe I'm underestimating the amount of money the football program has or the level that donors are fed up with Kirk and would donate to hire a new coach. I just envisioned a scenario where we can only afford to pay a new coach a million a year due to Kirk's buyout, and as someone else mentioned, that turns into a crapshoot for coaches.

If we had enough money to pay him out and spend 3 or so on a new coach, I wouldn't be against it.

I do not understand why anyone cares about the money. Its not like they're going to start garnishing your check to pay off Kirk's buyout.

I think next year's 4 win team is when the screws start to be turned pretty tight. Especially after there are no coaching changes done this off season.

If he signs this letter and pays to have it published in every Iowa newspaper with a circulation over 5,000, he can stay:

I, Kirk Ferentz, am a real dumbfuck.

I don't understand how time works.
