It's worth it to seek out the podcast and listen to his tone. He was just very unimpressed with BB and how he handled the situation. None of the usual "We really enjoyed and appreciated him while he was hear and wish him the best of luck at Arkansas" bullshit.
He was on Dan Patrick this morning and was the same way. Bielema is on Patrick tomorrow, so I'm curious to see how he responds.

First off, Bielema was a somewhat unknown DC at K State when he took the job at UW. The idea that an unproven DC won't get the UW job is absolutely ridiculous. Peterson is intriguing but a) speed w/ a given of horse linemen would be pretty interesting but b) no way his recruits would be admitted.

I'm on record that it's Diaco.

He may have been "unproven" at KSU but if I recall correctly, Alvarez hired him as a DC; not as a head coach. He proved himself to Alvarez while in Madison.

He was hired as the "heir apparent" when he was hired as DC. Alavarez was a DC when he was hired as Wisconsin's coach. Or are we counting Mason City High School?

Where does Pelini end up? Anything left for him? He clearly wants out of Lincoln.

He ain't going anywhere. If you want out of Lincoln its because you suck. I don't think he thinks he sucks.

TO would never fire Bo. Now that TO is gone (well, in a month anyways) I think Bo is afraid. Remember, this is the fanbase that ran a coach after a 9-3 season. They're 100% irrational and they call the shots, especially if it isn't TO on the trigger.

Heard some buzz about possible perhaps likely Iowa assistant coaching departures, one of which I'm definitely fine with, though it isn't the one I really want.

Wilson and Campbell looking to move to greener or at least different pastures. I'll bet being a WR coach under that fat Greg Davis at Iowa really sucks. Like among the worst jobs in major CFB

I would be very happy with Wilson leaving, 2nd only to the fat man.

I'm not sure what to think of Campbell, I am kind of meh.

We might as well not have a WR coach if Big Greg is staying.

someone needs to tell Tommy that the Alford flee works a lot better in basketball when you can be a power from a non-BCS conference more easily. not sure Big East football is ever appealing.

Everyone in Lubbock hates Tuberville. My parents just went to a wedding in West Texas and everyone was bitching about him. They are happy he is leaving.

You're making a different point.

BB said that winning a title at Arkansas is easier than Wisky. I'm saying that is completely idiotic. The SEC West is insanely good.

His point was you could lose a game in the SEC/not win your division and still play in the national championship. At Wisconsin, 1 loss basically eliminates you from the discussion.

i don't care what anyone thinks of the big east, the tuberville hire is fantastic for Cincy. he can recruit and has won everywhere he has been. if you can recruit kids to the shithole of lubbock, tx then you are doing something right.

He is 130-77 with only 4 losing seasons in 17 seasons. He definitely has the credentials. It was great when he was denied a chance at the BCS championship in 2004..

He's a great hire b/c:

1. He's 58; and
2. Since he's 58, he is much less likely to be yet another coach that uses that job to bounce.

Foolish to think he's at Cincy long term. That program, in that conference will always be a stepping stone.
