The guy trying to bring up the Ferentz comparison is stupid.

I agree with Legend that it was absolutely a mistake for Ferentz to attend that meeting, but there is still a world of difference between coming to a meeting because you were requested to by the victim's family and reaching out to a victim to see if there's anything you can do about the problem (if that's what happened).

Now that is a better example. A truly colossally stupid move.

If so, it's University of Nebraska-Ames and Rhoads is trying his best to be Tom Osborne. Where'd he hide the gun?

it was sad to hear chris williams and jack whitver dismiss the whole incident on kxno last night. I didnt hear any talk on it during the morning show yesterday or today so far.

I know kids will mess up no matter what team they are on yet its comical the garden variety reaction of the clones when one of theirs gets cuffed.

I got in the car at about 5:05, and had KXNO on from the morning show, and heard those two homers, and their explanation of why they're not going to discuss the incident. I immediately plugged in my iPod, saying to myself "Matt and Miller would be all over it, effing homers".

If it was an Iowa player, they would have devoted their entire ISU shower scene yesterday to the incident.

Chris Williams should not be allowed on the radio. He needs to practice at home or go to a smaller market before being allowed to fill in for a three hour show.

I don't agree with much that Matt Perrault says, however he clearly knows how to host a radio show and keeps it moving. Chris simply doesn't think quickly enough.

A classic poster on CR, one who is really really odd, opines that the most likely scenario is that Sims found the card, and used it to buy something to see if it was still active and thereby determine if he needed to contact the police in an attempt to return the card to its rightful owner.

It's like the CF poster who wanted to do research into if the victim has filed false police reports in the past.

Breathtaking nearly instant internal pwnage:

This posted at 1:12 on CR "

Per Randy Peterson on 1700AM - he spoke with county attorney regarding Sims case - per the attorney "much less than a felony" and "may not even be a charge forthcoming".

Followed by three quick posts saying it was all about nothing, then at 1:20

Ames Trib says charges WERE filed today. Aggravated misdemeanor.

"stolen" or the kid left it somewhere?

This stuff doesn't happen at SE Polk, I can tell you that. And as for the kid saying someone stile his credit card...well, that doesn't happen if you travel with a Rottweiler named Cael like I do.

Fact of the matter is no oneknows exactly what went down, but Sims at the very least should be suspended for shopping at Foot Locker instead of Scheel's.

I mean, why shop in Ames when you can shop at MILFtastic Jordan Creek Mall?

"Nlp" ftw

He's suspended for the opener. Looks like we'll see him on 9/11.

Clone fans are now convinced that it wasn't *their* David Sims who was in trouble after all.
