I thought he was pretty solid last year. You can't have enough good players, he seemed to be a good receiver as well..

You edited this part after I responded, but I completely agree 100%. Hopefully Coker can fill in substantially during the preconference games.

Well, I guess you're correct, Buffett, re: depth. But it's also the highest percentage position to need it. And as much as I'm glad Hampton is back, I'm still not convinced a RB is all the way back after only 1 yr. Although, didn't AY have his best season the yr after his ACL? I could be full o' crap on that point.

We were talking about two different things. We're both correct.

Yes, AY had his best year after the ACL, but I'm not sure that is common.

This is what I have been able to get out Iowa City so far....BW most likely will not be playing this season and instead take a "red shirt" year but will not have the normal contact with the football program other redshirts have due to spending time getting his personal life in order.
