Default JVB #2 QB in the IIAGD?

http://btn.com/2012/05/11/dienhart-r...shared+twitter

Tom Dienhart thinks so.

The worst part is, I read that list and really couldn't strongly disagree. Man does the Big Ten have some shitty QBs.

Someone's gotta make Keenan Davis a first round pick.

He's #1 imo. Denard is still a one trick pony. Efficient trick but the teams that beat him take him out of the game.

Robinson's passing stats as a junior are close to the same as Ricky Stanzi's when he was a junior. Actually his efficiency is a little better. He's a little more than a one trick pony.

Mr. Hawks knows his quarterbacks, so you can STFU.

Ricky Stanzi's junior year was also wildly overrated by Hawkeye fans.

But I agree with your general point about him not being a horrible passer. He has improved.

how's his efficiency when his rushing numbers aren't great?

I don't necessarily disagree that Robinson struggles against good defenses who force him to beat them passing. Of course, Vandy struggles against good defenses also. I just think calling him a one trick pony is taking things way too far.

I'm surprised to see Kain Colter (NW) so low on the list. That dude is going to torch some teams this year.

Yup, he was awful in the MSU game that year but he led the final drive and all was forgot. He was awful in the Indiana game. Didn't do shit at PSU. But, he led game winning drives so everyone was pumped.

He was pretty effing good his senior year, but didn't lead game winning drives so he sucked.

Without a doubt here, Michigan’s Denard Robinson looks like the top quarterback in the league. Could he become the first Big Ten quarterback to win the Heisman since Ohio State’s Troy Smith turned the trick in 2006?

Well, of course he does. All QBs - all players - have work to do. But I have to ask - what do those two games have to do with it? Yes, he was bad. But all QBs have bad games. JVB isn't different or special in that regard.

Fans are only willing to ignore inconsistent QB play when the defense is good enough to make up for it.

True, or even elevate the QB to a status he doesn't necessarily deserve.

That is a bad ass pic right there. Sideways, but still bad. Ass.

I've looked into a couple Canadian bear hunts but will have to wait a couple of years now. To do that with a bow is freaking phenomenal.

The worst part is, I read that list and really couldn't strongly disagree. Man does the Big Ten have some shitty QBs.
Considering the two QBs featured in the BCS title game, I'm not so sure shitty QB play is limited to the Big Ten.

JVB is pretty average in pretty much everything, other than killing bears apparently.

He's good enough to win with but not good enough to put the team on his back and steal a game against a really good opponent. He's a 7-5 kinda QB, IMO.
With the 08 or 09 defenses, he'd probably fair near what Stanzi did(8-4, 10-2).

Will the system change make a diff? I doubt it. If this were year 2 in the system then maybe, but I still doubt it
