I'm not comfortable with this, HaLo News. Iowa does its best with low expectations and an under-the-radar team. Brad Banks didn't make any watchlists.

HaLo News, don't hold your breath. Vandenberg is horrible. Paul Burmeister > Vandy, and Burmeister was horrible.

I'd be very happy if he won the best QB in Iowa award.

One year at home vs Illinois Iowa was starting from their own 1 yard line. The play was a sweep to the left. Burmeister turned and pitched right. To no one.

Not surprising considering the numbers he put up last year.

I'm shocked that he didn't take a sack. Burmeister loved to go into turtle mode. He was horrible. That Alamo Bowl was embarrassing.

Didn't Spermeister have the 3rd highest QB rating in the league that year?

It cracks me up whenever Murph and Andy start talking about Burmeister still being scarred from being booed as the Iowa qb. Paul, you would never have got your cushy TV gigs had you not played at Iowa, not to mention your free education.
Hes lucky he wasnt charged with First Degree Theft

That must have been a pre-season all American team. Karl Noonan, Gary Snook, and John Niland, and the coach Jerry Burns.

Would Iowa have been better off with Nathan at QB? At least he can make plays with his feet.

Looking at that I think KF has one of two conclusions he should make.
Either Vandy really isn't good - in which case he should have benched him midway through the season. Or GDGD really isn't good - in which case he should can him now that this miserable season is over. But I think we're all pretty sure that neither of those conclusions was reached. |
