Kirk is a great coach and worth every penny. It doesn't matter what YOU think of the program, all that matters is all the money he brings in for the university. Also, it's really hard to recruit in Iowa City, so 7-5 is the most we should ever expect.

Had Ferentz been Purdue's coach, they would've taken a knee at the end of the game with the ball in their own territory and a minute left. Ferentz would've opted for overtime. Instead, Purdue runs a quarterback draw, then a pass, and wins it with a field goal.

This was the most poetic way Iowa could lose. Never deserved to be in it at all. Purdue gave them 14 points. Vandenberg was awful again. Line was a mess. Tanner Miller is perhaps the worst safety to play at Iowa in 10 years.

Scheme sucks on both sides of the ball. Every time we actively put pressure on the QB with blitzes and up field rushing, something good happens. When we don't, they march all over us. 27 first downs for Purdue.

Fuck that fat mother fucker Greg Davis.

Thankfully there are 5 games in the next 8 days for Iowa Basketball.

There is no reason that Rudock shouldn't play the last 2 games, but of course Ferentz will say it is cruel to give him his first snaps on the road against 100,000+ fans. You then of course have Senior day after that.

I think it'll be better to bench Vandy by senior day. If he's still starting, he might get booed coming out. I am beginning to think this is all on Greg Davis. Vandy had some moments last year and his stats were very good. You don't just go from average to slightly above average to one of the worst ever in 9 months.
