I will probably renew my season tickets next year, because I love the Hawkeyes. This is assuming that ticket prices do not go up. I will not pay more for tickets next year given the product. I would feel insulted if the UofI asked me too, and I hope they are smart enough to realize this is a bad idea.
I can't see any possible scenario, if we are seeing the same bullshit things on the field, that I will have season tickets in 2014 when they are going to try and force me to donate more and move my seats. I would think there are a lot of people like me. I wonder if the UofI has considered the impact of our football shittiness on their plan to re-seat the stadium Last edited by Kamala; 11-11-2012 at 11:34 PM. |

People try to claim that we have the #6 most expensive tickets but I don't buy it. You don't even have to donate to get season tickets at iowa, and other schools have much larger mandatory donations.

Not renewing in 2013, but we made that decision in September. Tired of hauling the kids to Grandma's, and they're getting to the point where they don't want to go anymore either. Plus, they're likely going to have activities of their own on the weekends soon, and I don't want to deny them that just so I can go watch the Hawks play some bullshit MAC schools (and occasionally lose). Ideally, I'll never attend a game in the month of September ever again.

To me $300 seems out of touch...I think they increase the donation zones by $50-$100 per zone...
