Neither. Staying the course. Just need to clean some things up and execute better. It takes a ton of precision to sustain drives built on 2 yard runs and completing nearly 100% of 3-4 yard passes, and we aim work hard in the offseason to get there.

Exactly. His offensive scheme is predicated on doing what his defensive scheme believes college offenses cannot do consistenly.

I expect Kirk to give some reasons to look forward to 2013. Also, I think people need to realize that the media asks hard questions. Kirk just gets all pissy and gets offended that people question his football intellect. Morehouse said in his podcast yesterday he was going to bring up some questions, as were other media members that Ferentz will not like.

Morehouse is probably the best of the Iowa beat writers. I think I've seen him imply before that Kirk is not too fond of him.

I was just going to post that. Seems like the only person that doesn't get this is KF.

I think Kirk feels Marc is fair & I believe Marc has alluded to Kirk reading his blog. Wasn't it after the Minnesota game in 2010 where he asked a question about DJK not starting? I think Ferentz slammed him for showing up to the press conference late and told Morehouse that he already covered that question.

Kirk jumped all over Morehouse at a press conference a few years back. Apparently it was just a timing issue. Morehouse happened to ask the question at the time the players were entering the room for interviews. Ferentz made a scene to show the players he had his back. Morehouse knew what was going on and didn't take offense to it, IIRC.
